TOEIC Exam Preparation and Guarantee Course

The Test of English for International Communication is produced by ETS® (Educational Testing Service).

TOEIC test questions are based on real-life work settings in an international environment (meetings, travel, telephone conversations, etc).

The test can be taken in two separate groups. Students can take one or both.

  • The Listening and Reading test is a paper and pencil test that takes 2 ½ hours and is taken at a test centre.
  • The Speaking and Writing test is an online test that is taken in a test centre and takes 90 minutes.

  • Designed for intermediate learners who want to know the different test taking strategies in TOEIC.
  • Employees who work at hotels, hospitals, restaurants, international meetings, conventions and sporting events and need to use English on a daily basis.
  • Individuals employed in managerial, sales and technical positions in international business, commerce and industry who use English to communicate in their jobs.
  • New entrants to the workforce.

This course is designed for students who would like to gain knowledge and test-taking strategies in taking the TOEIC exam.

TOEIC Course is composed of two (2) programs wherein students will have their options of study depending on their educational needs.

TOEIC EXAM PREPARATION COURSE – In this program the student will have four (4) 1:1 Non Native Speaker, two (1) Non – Native Group Class, (1) Native Group Class and can avail two (2) Optional Group Classes.

TOEIC GUARANTEE COURSE – In this program the student will have four (4) 1:1 Non Native Speaker, two (1) TOEIC Native and 1 Filipino Group class, and can avail one (1) 1:1 TOEIC Special Class every Saturday.

  1. Registered students are required to take the CIP Online Placement Test for TOEIC which covers all 4 modules: Listening, Reading, Speaking and Writing
  2. After students have accomplished all tests needed, they will be receiving a results form. They will know their level even before they come to CIP.
  3. Students will then receive their timetable and can start their classes on Monday.
  4. CIP books will be available. Lesson plans are implemented to make sure that progressive learning for students will transpire.
  5. Students will be given an overview of the different subjects covered in the TOEIC exam on their first day.
  • TOEIC Test Scale

    TOEIC Test Scale is strictly being followed to measure a test taker's English proficiency at the time that a test is administered.  Since English-language skills may improve or decline over time, weekly simulation test, classroom mock test, and monthly progress test will be implemented.

    Elementary Proficiency Speaker has functional, but limited proficiency. Able to maintain very simple face-to-face conversation on familiar topics.

    Basic Proficiency Able to satisfy immediate survival needs.
