I have studied in CIP for about five months. Actually, this was my first time to go abroad. That is why when I arrived in the Philippines, I was really anxious.
I was pretty shy, and I could not speak English. My English abilities were very low. My first month here was quite hard. It come to the point that I could not buy something in the shop or even to order in a restaurant. Additionally, I normally talked with only Japanese students I got homesick in April. However, my English skills has improved little by little with the help of my teachers. The experiences I have been and all the lessons that I have learned from them are fantastic. Furthermore, I want to enhance more my skills in reading, listening, writing especially in speaking, because I believe that learning is a never ending course. I will not stop here. I shall continue finding ways and study to learn more. My teachers always taught me the correct sentences and pronunciation. Also, my listening skill has improved. In the beginning, I could not understand any words they say, but now, I can almost understand. I still remember I started in the lowest level of the available books in the bookstore, but now I feel so grateful because my book now are in level A2+. I can still remember when I started my grammar book, I used the young learners’ grammar book, but now I am studying the OX grammar A2+ level. Moreover, I could make foreigner friends. Unlike before, I felt numb and shy to talk and make friends with them, for they are better than me. However, it has changed because of the confidence I have now. After going back to Japan, I am going to Australia a month after. I want to improve more my English skills.
In conclusion, I will never forget the things that I have learned in CIP. I am glad to be here and very thankful that I have chosen this school for my improvement. I was not wrong I studied in this institution because I have passionate kind and patient teachers. Thanks to my friends, CIP and most of all to my teachers.
