Thank you for wonderful experiences
My name is Sarina Ishida from Japan. I studied IELTS for 3 months. For my first simulation tests, I just got poor scores like 3.5 or 4. Actually, my target score was 5.5. However, when I saw my initial score, I thought the score which I was aiming was too difficult to achieve.
Even though it was hard for me, my teachers never gave up on me and they helped me a lot by giving me seat work and homework. Doing these was not easy. It was tough. Sometimes I had to write 3 essays as a homework. These activities helped me improve my ability to comprehend writing topics, reading as well as my vocabulary. It made me realize how important vocabulary is, because it did not only help me improve my writing but also my speaking and listening abilities. Speaking and Listening improved with the help of my teacher also whenever I hang out with my foreign friends in CIP.
After studying for 8 weeks, I took the official IELTS test in Clark, Philippines, and to my surprise, I got my target score. I did not expect this because I thought it was too early to take the test. That is why I have decided to take a test again in Japan. However, my teachers told me that I will get my score if I am confident and I practice more.
All of these will not happen without the support and help of the people around me. I really appreciate my teachers who never gave up on me, also my friends. While studying, I also had a great time. I had a lot of good memories in here. Thank you everyone for everything. Now I can loudly say that my choice was right, I will never forget my journey here in CIP.
