My CIP life
It is my second time to study in CIP and I had a lot of experiences. I came to the Philippines for three reasons. First, I want to study English. I think I can study better in the Philippines than in Japan. I want to pause using my own language for a while to improve my English. The first time I came here, I frequently used my dictionary to communicate. I came to CIP to learn Basic English and I prefer to study English in a 1 on 1 class. In group class, we can discuss something with each other, so we can learn new vocabulary words. I think it is important and now I do not use the dictionary to communicate.
Second, I want to meet different people with different nationalities to be friends with them, talk with them, and know their culture and traditions, that is why I chose CIP. I met 10 different nationalities such as Filipino, Vietnamese, Mongolian, Burmese(Myanmar People), Taiwanese, Chinese, Korean, American, British and Arabian.
I have had the chance to talk to them so I have learned about their culture. Of course, over the time, I improved my English. Finally, I wanted to know more about Philippines. CIP has different activities for students to enjoy. I joined Aeta volunteer and tours. It was my first time to see that kind of place in my entire life. I felt sad for the Aeta, but when I saw the children’s smile, I was glad to go. In my tour experiences, I saw how beautiful and blessed Philippines is. The Philippines has beautiful nature to enjoy. In conclusion, I have had a wonderful time.
I think this kind of journey can only be experienced in the Philippines because I learned and enjoyed at the same time. My teachers, friends and local people in this country taught me a lot of good things that I will treasure forever.
