Does working abroad benefits our family?
These days many families move abroad for work. Some believe that this benefits the children in the families. Others believe that it makes their lives more difficult.
With the development of aviation technology, going to foreign country has been affordable and usual. As some families believe that migrating abroad benefits their children, they leave their motherland and to resettle in countries where they like. However, other people don’t agree the opinion.
Parents always want to give their children the best things in life. As a result, most people choose to live in a developed country, such as America, Canada and Australia. Living in these countries, there are so many benefits. Their children can get a good education, have lots of opportunities for work, make friends with people who come from different countries, learn different cultures, and have the right to receive good social welfare.
However, it’s not really easy to accept a new environment for every kid. First, you need to understand the local language, or you have to be able to speak English at least. Second, if the local culture is totally different from yours, it will be a great impact for children. Children will have a hard time to adjust themselves to the new life. Third, you might become homesick. Moreover, there is racial discrimination in some countries. It could be a big problem.
In my perspective, I agree with either of the above advantages and disadvantages. For every plus there is a minus, hence the only thing is that enjoy the good side and try to accept the bad sides.I really like to encounter different things, people and culture, so I may be an immigrant in a wonderful country in the future.
