Teaching English can be a very exciting experience. My philosophy about teaching and learning English is that a teacher must demonstrate a positive attitude, offer feedback to motivate students, and encourage them to participate. In my teaching at CIP I regard it most important also to offer patience and understanding.
Each lesson has a clear objective, and I encourage my students to achieve their goals by making sure my classes are informative and fun. Students feel safe to express their feelings and learn to respect and listen to others. In my ‘One on One’ and group classes, everyone’s ideas and opinions are valued. It is also important to connect with students and form relationships that will assist in the learning journey. Wherever possible, I like to personalize lessons and make real-life connections to the topics and learning materials.
Professionalism is very important for a good teacher — from personal appearance to organizational skills and being prepared for every class. I maintain a high quality of education by being flexible and creative, and by using different methods and learning from my colleagues.
In conclusion, my passion is to work tirelessly to create a challenging, nurturing environment for my students, and I love assisting and getting students to speak and understand the English language. I have patience for learners of all levels and provide guidance and advice to students that will make them more confident when speaking English. All my students say that that I am energetic and have a great attitude and enthusiasm for teaching English.
